(Washington, D.C., May 2, 2019)—The Energy Management Association (EMA) will conduct a seminar and exam for its Energy Management Professional Certification (EMP) on June 21-22, 2019 in Kansas City.
The EMP provides a complete framework for a commissioning-based, energy management process that achieves maximum energy efficiency and optimum building performance. The day-and-a-half EMP Seminar is followed by a four-hour exam for certification. Candidates may enroll for the seminar or exam only or both the seminar & exam.
The EMP Certification is Accredited by the American National Standards Institute and recognized DOE’s Better Buildings® Workforce.
Attendees of the EMP Seminar will earn 12 AIA LU/HSW continuing education credits that are widely applicable for various engineering-related certifications and licenses.
Being an EMP enabled me to grow within my own organization. They are able to sell my expertise and really push forward our energy services practice to our clients. It has served both me and my company well. Alok Kumar, P.E., EMP, Director of Energy Services, Nika
